In this workshop, you will learn practical tips that will help turn people who find you on Google Search and Maps into new customers with a free Business Profile for your storefront or service area.

Optimizing your Google profile has proved to drive more traffic, leads and sales to your local business.

This workshop is for entrepreneurs who are currently in-business or planning to open soon as a brick and mortar or service-area business (not intended for ecommerce-only businesses).

This workshop will cover: 

• How to claim your free profile
• Choose your primary and secondary search categories
• Location information accuracy and attributes
• Adding products and services
• Best practices for photos (quality, types, quantity, keywords)
• Review management and importance of volume and quality
• Scheduling posts, events and announcements
• Data and insights

Presented by Melissa Telsrow, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the digital marketing agency, Hiper Inc. Along with her business partner, she has pioneered hyperlocal marketing at scale for large organizations with a complex digital footprint. Melissa and her team manage Google Business Profiles for hundreds of businesses and is an expert on this topic. Prior to starting Hiper, Melissa was in the marketing trenches of the franchise industry for 15 years. Melissa is active in several marketing organizations, where she serves as a speaker and mentor to young marketing professionals.
